How we verify stores.

We only want to send you to stores that are real and that stand behind what they sell. A “Verified store” badge appears only where all four checks below are on file, each with a source and a date.

The four checks

All four must pass for the badge.

01Authorised retailer or established boutique

The store is a brand-authorised stockist, the brand’s own store, or an established boutique or marketplace that sources from brands and partner boutiques. We look for the brand’s stockist list, the store’s own statement of authorisation, or both, and keep the link.

02Written authenticity policy

The store publishes how it guarantees authenticity (for example an authenticity guarantee, an authentication process, or buyer protection). We record the level it states: guarantee, process, protection or stated only. No policy on file means no badge.

03Company details

A registered company name, address and a working contact are published (imprint, terms or about page) and agree with a public company record where one exists. We record the source.

04Review health

An independent review platform shows a meaningful number of reviews and a score we can read. We store the score, the count and the date we checked it. Scores change, so the date is shown.

What this does not mean

We would rather be plain about the limits.

We do not inspect or test products, and we cannot guarantee any single item.
A badge is not a recommendation and never changes the price ranking.
Stores can change their policies. Each check carries the date it was made and a source link.
No badge means “not yet verified”, not “unsafe”.

Where you see it

On every offer

A small “Verified store” badge sits next to the store name on offer lists, only for stores with all four checks on file.

On each store page

The store page lists each check, its source and the date, next to the store’s score, returns and shipping policy.

Know something we do not?

If a store’s details are wrong or have changed, tell us and we will re-check it.
